The Valdosta City School District is offering i-Parent as a means to enhance communication with parents as a continuing effort to promote educational excellence. i-Parent allows parents to view their own child's grades anywhere, anytime. For this privilege, every parent is expected to act in a responsible, ethical and legal manner. Parents are required to adhere to the following guidelines:
Parents will NOT share their password with anyone, including their own children.
Parents will not attempt to destroy or harm any data.
Parents will not use i-Parent for any illegal activity, including violation of Data Privacy laws. Anyone violating the laws will be subject to civil and/or criminal prosecution.
Parents will not access data or any account owned by another parent.
Parents who identify a security problem must report it immediately to the Valdosta City School District.
Parents who are identified as a security risk to i-Parent or to any other Valdosta City Schools' computers or networks will be denied access.
User guidelines and system requirements are available online or in print by request. Please review them before signing and returning the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Only by signing and returning the agreement will you receive access to i-Parent for your child.
